JOB DESCRIPTION
Headquartered in Singapore, ASCENT Group is an Independent Global Fund Administrator that provides a full range of fund administration services for Managed Funds such as Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital, Digital Assets Funds, VCC, Real Estate Funds, etc., including reviewing fund constitutional documents from an operational perspective, helping set up the structure, providing tax and accounting services for the funds, (including financial preparation and calculation of net asset value).
We also provide investor services for the funds that include KYC review, onboarding, calculation of return, and distribution of statements. All books and records are maintained on a robust integrated platform. We are expanding our senior team in Australia and are advertising for a Senior Business Development Manager Australia (either Sydney or Melbourne). You will be integral in expanding our pipeline to meet or surpass sales revenue goals and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Senior Business Development Manager – Australia
Required Skills and Experience:
- Results driven individual with a minimum 10-15 years of successful experience in the Alternative Asset Management industry.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.
- Highly self-motivated, energetic individual who builds strong relationships quickly.
- Strong background in selling to C-level executives is required.
- Understand the buying process and how to navigate the decision maker network to close deals.
- Understanding of the Australian Alternative Assets landscape.
- Selling experience in Digital Asset Classes is an advantage.
- Strength in strategic, conceptual, and consultative selling.
- Passionate about cutting-edge technologies and the way they change the world.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with stakeholders.
- Ability to present compellingly and negotiate complex deals.
- A thinker who can think “outside of the box” to discover ways to gain traction.
- Willing and able to travel when required.
