JOB DESCRIPTION

Headquartered in Singapore, ASCENT Group is an Independent Global Fund Administrator that provides a full range of fund administration services for Alternative funds such as Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital, Crypto Funds, VCC, Retail Estate Funds, etc., which include reviewing fund constitutional documents from an operational perspective, help setting up the structure, providing tax and accounting services for the funds including financial preparation and calculation of net asset value. We also provide investor services for the funds that include KYC review, onboarding, calculation of return, and distribution of statements. All books and records are maintained on a robust integrated platform. ASCENT Fund Services is one of the fastest-growing companies in the fund admin space with 9 offices in APAC and counting.

The IT Systems Administrator plays an integral role in defining rules and procedures for all individuals accessing and using an organization’s IT assets and resources. Effective IT Security Policy is a model of the organization’s culture, in which rules and procedures are driven from its employees’ approach to their information and work. He assists in system architecture, design, integration, and development. The Security Administrator is responsible for the operation of the Ascent team for protecting the organisation’s computers, networks and data against threats.

FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Head of IT – APAC, or equivalent, you will be responsible for:

• Primary point of contact for end-user computing – user on/off boarding, troubleshooting, and training
• Microsoft 365 tenant administration (Office, Teams, Exchange, Azure AD, etc)
• Monitoring of endpoints operational security and compliance via Microsoft Intune
• First level support for office network (Corp & Guest WIFI networks, router admin)
• Procurement/ management of IT assets such as laptops and mobile devices
• Liaise with and manage 3rd party IT software/hardware/services vendors
• Support and troubleshoot audio visual equipment such as projectors, AV systems
• Support with regular IT subscriptions invoice reviewing and payment process
• Ad hoc support on internal IT projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership skills with exceptional communication and presence
• Advanced knowledge of multiple IT control and project management practices and experience working across large environments
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Expertise in application and infrastructure high-availability and resiliency architectures with demonstrated experience in business
• Proficiency in information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, access controls, regulatory compliance, technology resiliency, risk and control
  governance and metrics, incident management, secure systems development lifecycle, vulnerability management, and data protection
