OVERVIEW

Headquartered in Singapore, ASCENT Group is an Independent Global Fund Administrator thatprovides a full range of fund administration services for Alternative funds such as Hedge Funds,Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital, Crypto Funds, VCC, Retail Estate Funds, etc., which include
reviewing fund constitutional documents from an operational perspective, help setting up the structure, providing tax and accounting services for the funds including financial preparation and
calculation of net asset value. We also provide investor services for the funds that include KYC review, onboarding, calculation of return, and distribution of statements. All books and records are maintained on a robust integrated platform. ASCENT Fund Services is one of the fastest-growing companies in the fund admin space with 15+ offices in APAC and counting.

We are planning to expand our business into corporate services such as accounting, tax, payroll and corporate secretarial for SMEs in Singapore followed by other countries which we have presence in. We are currently looking for a strong business development person to join us and grow our business.

FUNCTIONS

• Primarily focusing on accounting, tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial business space to prospect for potential customers
• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial clients’ engagement to closed sales.
• Developing and executing sales plan to meet business goals.
• Establish, grow and manage channel or relationships aggressively through various platforms
  (e.g., cold calling, business networking etc).
• Provide new ideas or sales plan to drive the organisation sales.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose clients’ business issues and deploy different consultative strategies to offer best solution through cross-selling of services.
• Develop and manage a strong network of clients and intermediaries.
• Build, manage and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Work closely with and build strong collaborative relationship with sales, marketing, client on-boarding, operations, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or Diploma or equivalent Degree in accounting, Finance, Business related area.
• 2+ years of sales experience in accounting / corporate service industry.
• Experience in the accounts / tax / payroll / corporate secretarial business is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, collaborating, and negotiating skills are required.
• A self-starter with a high degree of energy and careful attention to detail.
• Strong sense of initiative and a process-improvement mindset.
• Highly flexible with a strong ability to multi-task.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, Mandarin communication skill is a plus.
